I have had a couple of shorter experiences similar to the one back on April 9th. During them, I have trouble staying in body. I was told by Valerie Donner that the message coming through will be clearer if I don't fight it. The first time, I was leaving work by bus as it was happening. It was all I could do to operate my body well enough to walk. I had a sense of my self as other than or more than what is contained in the body. Like I was a channel or sort of a fiber optic filament for streaming information. No, that's not really accurate either. It's more like I was what travels the filament. It's difficult to break the old habit of identifying "self" with the vessel as opposed to what operates it. Does that make any sense to anyone?

I am just finding my way around here at the moment
I am a spiritual person looking for somewhere to learn more that will help with my situation.
My daughter passed away 4 weeks today, and my beliefs are being very stretched at the moment as you can imagine, so looking to find some strength and re-enforce my belief system

I don't even know the circumstances of your daughters passing, but being a mother myself, I can only imagine the pain your heart must be in and I wanted You to know I sent a prayer or meditation out for You and yours. I've heard it said that to have the life you want, you have to first want the life you have. It sounds simplistic, but I really do believe that being grateful draws more of what you want to you.
I am so grateful everyday for my newfound strength, confidence, and independence. Especially in today's economy, I find it a miraculous blessing to be able to take care of myself by myself.

A Vegetarian Thanksgiving
Try a stuffed pumpkin in lieu of turkey for a delicious vegetarian feast.

Our friends laughed when we first told them we planned to stuff a pumpkin on Thanksgiving, instead of the traditional gobbler. Come to think of it, at the time we were still pretty "green" at vegetarianism, and weren't so sure ourselves that we could successfully pull off a meatless "Turkey Day." But we were hooked on our new lifestyle, so we were willing to give it a try!
Unable to find a suitable recipe for stuffing and baking our entree in any of the cookbooks we had available, we decided to invent our own. So, using many of the same fresh ingredients found in traditional stuffing — walnuts, mushrooms, celery, raisins, sage and so forth — we created a Thanksgiving feast that even the staunchest turkey-loving Pilgrim couldn't have passed up. Why, each steaming mouthful of tender, slightly sweet pumpkin "meat" topped with buttery, perfectly seasoned dressing simply melted in our mouths!
And now, every November, as we sit down to our traditional festive meal, highlighted by roast pumpkin, we pause to toast our very first vegetarian Thanksgiving.
